Southpaw is a very clean and comfortable custom 43’ Torres sport fishing vessel. Constructed in 2002 specifically for Capt. Brad to fish the Key West waters. The cockpit, where the actual fishing takes place, is immense at 12’ x 15’, so anglers are not crowded. Inside, clients can relax on comfortable seating and enjoy lunch around the dinette. There is also a drink box and a wet bar. A full sized bathroom will keep everyone happy. Other features that set the Southpaw apart from other boats in the Key West fleet include a state of the art bait well to keep live bait happy all day long and a tuna tower which allows Capt. Brad to see for miles searching for sailfish, cobia, or weed and debris which is known to hold mahi mahi and other fish. Southpaw is powered by a 700 horsepower Lugger diesel which is world renowned for dependability.

Captain Brad Simonds was born and raised in Massachusetts and is a graduate of the prestigious Princeton University in New Jersey. He moved to Key West in 1979 to begin his fishing career. His 40 plus year fishing career has seen him win several tournaments and other awards for fishing excellence.
